Angelica Panganiban and Camille Prats have been a legendary tandem in the big screen. Even when they were young, these two former child stars have already carved their names in the Philippine showbiz industry. Indeed, one was not often seen without the company of the other, which is why many people often mix up their identity.
As a matter of fact, they have appeared in several big hit movies before. We’ve known their faces in the 1997 film “Ang Pulubi at ang Prinsesa,” wherein Camille Prats played the role of a poverty-stricken child while Angelica Panganiban is born with a silver spoon in her mouth.
More than two decades after their remarkable movie, the two actresses have taken separate paths in life. Though both of them pursued the showbiz career, Camille took the path of hosting while Angelica focused on acting.
Since it has been years since they have been together in another movie, many fans missed their old legendary tandem. Because one is often associated with the other, it is not surprising that many people often confuse their identities! During a talk show, Camille Prats recalled how a fan mistook her for Angelica!
In their regular talk show “Mars,” which airs on GMA Network, Camille and her co-hosts were having an intimate question and answer portion. During the segment, the host was asked about the weirdest thing a fan ever did to her. After a moment’s hesitation, a funny memory occurred to her.
According to Camille, a fan once approached her and fervently asked for a photo. While in the middle of taking a photo, the fan blurted out Angelica Panganiban’s name! Though it was a bit awkward, Camille still took a photo to avoid disappointing the fan.
